Join the PhD Program in Nutritional Biochemistry at Arizona State University

Our lab investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying obesity and metabolic syndrome, with the goal of developing novel nutritional and pharmacological interventions. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in nutritional biochemistry, molecular biology, and physiology, and a passion for understanding diet-gene-epigenome interactions in the brain.

The PhD student will be part of our exciting NIH R01-funded project, which investigates the brain regulation of metabolic hormone signaling in obesity, using transgenic mouse models, brain organoids, and cell cultures. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
