NPC Birth Registration Adhoc E-Recruitment – Application Guide & Link
The NPC E-Birth Recruitment for 2023/2024 is now open, providing an opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of birth registration in Nigeria. This collaborative effort involves the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), the National Population Commission (NPC), and UNICEF, all working together to ensure the registration of 12.7 million births in the country.
NPC Birth Registration Adhoc E-Recruitment – Application Guide & Link
Under this initiative, birth certificates will be issued, capturing the names and nationalities of children under the age of 5 in 21 states, 456 LGAs, and 4,978 wards across Nigeria.
During the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding at the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja, Dr. Ibrahim Sesay, the Chief of Child Protection at UNICEF, revealed that 800 Corps members would be enlisted to support the National Population Commission officials in this important exercise.
Eligibility & E-Birth Application Requirements:
To be considered for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN). Note that the NIN can only be used once for the assessment test.
- Successfully complete and pass the assessment test.
- The assessment test can only be taken once.
- Use a device equipped with a camera.
- Bank details must match the information provided in the NIN.
- Hold a valid educational certificate.
- Have a valid Gmail account.
- Score 50% or above on the assessment test.
- Provide a valid Bank Account Number (only commercial banks are accepted).
- Possess a valid phone number.
