JAMB Transfer Approval: How to Access and Accept/Reject your Course Transfer Offer
JAMB Transfer Approval is a platform allotted in JAMB CAPS to enable Jamb candidates to Accept their new transferred courses.
Most times you could be looking for a particular course like Medicine and Surgery, if your JAMB and Post UTME Score did not meet up with the cut-off mark, Jamb through the school directive would offer to give you admission in other departments or courses – those courses allocated to you would be showing on JAMB Transfer Approval Portal.
It is now left for you to either Accept or Reject the Course suggested for you for instance, they may suggest Biochemistry or Microbiology or Science Laboratory Technology for you; you can Accept or Reject the Course – it’s your right to do what you want on that.
Note: Immediately you Accept the course on Jamb Transfer Approval, it will start showing on your JAMB Admission on CAPS portal. You are advised to keep check the portal for it to change to Admission in Progress then to Admitted – which is the main one that confirms the admission.
Admission that shows only on Jamb Transfer Approval portal is still a suggestion until you Accept it and it shows admitted on Admission link on JAMB CAPS.
Jamb Transfer Approval Program/Course Transfer Offer
This is a platform where your First Choice Institution want to transfer you from your program / course of preference to another program / course. You are required to either accept or reject, this transfer consideration
If you accept, your first choice institution will be able to admit you in the new program.
If you reject, you will remain in your preferred Course / Program. The program transfer will not be effected.
No program transfer consideration
No program transfer consideration shows when Jamb have not given you any transfer offer from your first choice institution, there is need to always check it as well as your JAMB CAPS Admission.
How to Accept or Reject Course Offer on JAMB Transfer Approval Portal
- First, visit JAMB Portal @ www.efacility.jamb.gov.ng/jamb-caps
- Login with your details; your Email address used for the JAMB registration and JAMB Password, it could be found in the Email also.
- Click on Check Admission Status after a successful login
- Click on Access JAMB CAPS – it will take you to JAMB CAPS portal immediately.
- Click on Transfer Approval to see the course given
- Use either of the options: ACCEPT or REJECT Button
