Steps and Registration Procedures for JAMB 2022/2023
- Get Confirmatory or Profile Code
- Buy your Registration pin
- Go to an accredited centres for registration and thumb print
- Use correct phone number and email address
- Upload your O’level (WAEC/NECO ) if you have or use awaiting result and upload later if you are yet to write your SSCE Exams
- Print out your photo card
- Note your Exam Date, Venue and Time for your Exams if it’s stated or check for date to reprint on the photo card

- Send your full name (Surname, First Name, Middle Name (if any)) to 55019 – e.g. Ayo Tobi Eze to 55019
- A profile code will be sent to your phone as Text message
- Keep the code or write it out in your Diary as it will be required subsequently
How to Correct wrong spelling of name in profile code
- To correct any mistake in your name or candidate’s name, kindly send (CORRECT with correct format (arrangement) and spelling of your name or candidate’s name to 55019

Jamb e-PIN selling points the e-PIN outlets are:
- Four Mobile Money Operators: Paga, e-Tranzact (PocketMoni), TEASYPay and Packway Projects (Readycash)
- Two participating Micro Finance Banks: FUD MFB (Dutse) and Regent MFB (Abuja)
- Two online Payment Platforms: SystemSpecs (Remita) and InterSwitch (Quickteller)
- POS (Citi-Serve)
- NIPOST and eleven Participating Banks (ACCESS, ECOBANK, FIRSTBANK, FCMB, FIDELITY, JAIZ, SKYE, -STERLING, UNION, UNITY and ZENITH)

- Enter Profile Code
- Select bank and follow the prompts to complete payment
- e-PIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
How much is JAMB Registration Pin or e-Pin for JAMB 2022/2023 Registration
The amount for JAMB Registration pin or e-Pin for 2022/2023 is #3,500. Don’t pay more than that as any other payment added is the benefit of the outlets.
How to Register for 2022/2023 JAMB Examination
After successful payment and obtaining e-PIN, you are to proceed to any of the jamb accredited CBT centres to complete your JAMB registration. The candidate presents the e-PIN at any JAMB accredited CBT Centre for completion of registration. The name of the candidate as typed by the candidate on his/her phone when registering the profile comes up automatically on the input of the e-PIN by the CBT centre.
Registration Process at CBT Centres
Candidates are to:
- Pay NOT more than N700 as Service Charge to the CBT Centre
- Provide Bio-data including Date of Birth, Nationality, State of Origin, Local Government, Gender, e-mail address, among others correctly
- Provide choice of institutions and Course of study
- Provide O’Level Result with grades and dates, if not awaiting result
- Upload relevant certificates, if not awaiting result
- Supply JAMB registration number for previous institutional certificates for DE only
- Provide UTME subjects and choice of examination town(s) for (a) Mock examination (optional) and (b) Examination for UTME (actual examination)
- Do picture capture (no scanning of passport photograph)
- Do Biometric enrolment (ten fingers)
- Review entries and confirm correctness
- Print Registration Slip USING BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION or YOUR 2021 JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBER
- Each Candidate is to collect his/her e-slip at the end of registration as evidence of registration
How to Recover Lost e-PIN after Payment
- Send [UTMEPIN] or [DEPIN] to 55019 for UTME or DE respectively from the unique number
- The e-PIN would then be retrieved and delivered on the candidate’s unique number
- After successful payment and obtaining e-PIN, candidate should proceed to any of the jamb accredited CBT centres to complete his/her registration
- In line with the Board’s regulated registration exercise, only the accredited Computer Based Test Centres and JAMB Offices will be allowed to register candidates
- Each candidate should visit any accredited CBT centre with his/her personal details, the profile code and evidence of payment.

2021 JAMB Registration form will be released by February 8, 2022.

The closing date for JAMB Form Registration is May 15, 2022.
