This post is created to inform you of the most recent Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme (PYES) update for the benefit of all P-YES applicants. Please read this post in order to learn how to channel your own plans.

We noticed that some of the PYES applicants has been asking questions on how to check their Shortlist status so we decided to create this post to share more light regarding P-YES shortlisting.

The Presidential Youth empowerment scheme PYES application period have just ended. The management should by now be conducting the process that will lead to shortlisting. As such, no Applicants has been successfully Shortlisted for the 2022 programme yet.

If you visit the P-YES portal, you will noticed that they are no longer accepting applications. If you open the apply now button, you will get a reply stating that application has closed. So if you have applied for the PYES, we are encouraging you to be patient and keep checking the portal regularly for new update regarding shortlisting.

The P-YES is initiated to fight and reduce unemployment among Nigerian youth by creating at least 774,000 jobs through direct youth empowerment targeting to deliver 1000 jobs per local government. It will empower youth to have the Capacity to empower at least one other youth within their immediate community in the shortest time possible.

According to PYES, the scheme will create wealth among the growing youth population and guarantee sustained income for target groups thereby strategically eliminate the scourge of criminality and drug abuse among the youth by empowering them to be productively engaged.
