The company is now looking to employ Technical Professionals to boost its operations in the Nigerian oil and gas industry. Thus, opportunities onboard a moored offshore semi-submersible drilling rig exist for the positions below:

Job Title: Storeman

Location: Nigeria (Offshore)

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Valid Transport of Dangerous / Hazardous Goods by Air and Sea
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Storeman on an operational semi-submersible or drilling vessel.
• Good knowledge of ERP materials management systems.
• As this position is offshore, candidates will be required to hold a valid offshore medical and survival certification.

Job Title: Safety Officer

Location: Nigeria (Offshore)

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Safety Officer on an operational offshore drilling vessel. Marine background with marine qualifications preferred.
• As this position is offshore, candidates will be required to hold a valid offshore medical and survival certification.

Job Title: Electronics Technician

Location: Nigeria (Offshore)

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Higher National Certificate or above in Electronic Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Electronic Technician on an operational semi-submersible or drilling vessel.
• MUX experience preferred
• As this position is offshore, candidates will be required to hold a valid offshore medical and survival certification.

Job Title: Assistant Rig Manager (Onshore)

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Assistant Onshore Manager for the Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig, responsible for supporting the client interface, financial, technical, safety and performance aspects, emergency response procedures of the MOU.

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Degree or equivalent offshore operational experience, IWCF Well Control Surface and Sub Sea (Supervisor Level 4). OPITO Assessor and Verifier qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Assistant Rig Manager role, experienced in offshore drilling operations on an operational moored semi-submersible drilling vessel.

Job Title: Crane Operator

Location: Nigeria (Offshore)

Qualifications

• Offshore Crane Operator License, NOV Knuckle-boom Course
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Crane Operator on an operational semi-submersible or drilling vessel.
• Experience of helideck operations and Knuddeboom crane experience is essential
• As this position is offshore, candidates will be required to hold a valid offshore medical and survival certification.

Job Title: Electrician

Location: Nigeria (Offshore)

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Higher National Certificate or above in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Electrician on an operational semi-submersible or drilling vessel.
• High voltage experience essential.
• As this position is offshore, candidates will be required to hold a valid offshore medical and survival certification.

Job Title: Assistant Driller

• IWCF Well Control Surface and Sub Sea (Driller Level 3)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Assistant Driller on an operational semi-submersible or drilling vessel.
• Cyber experience essential and a minimum of 2 years’ experience as Derrickman on an operational semi-submersible or drilling vessel.
• As this position is offshore, candidates will be required to hold a valid offshore medical and survival certification.

Job Title: Driller

Location: Nigeria (Offshore)

Qualifications

• IWCF Well Control Surface and Sub Sea (Supervisor Level 4)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Driller on an operational semi-submersible drilling vessel.
• Cyber base experience essential and a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Driller on an operational drilling vessel.
• As this position is offshore, candidates will be required to hold a valid offshore medical and survival certification.

Job Title: Tourpusher

Location: Nigeria (Offshore)

Qualifications

• IWCF Well Control Surface and Sub Sea (Supervisor Level 4)
• Minimum of 3 years experience as Tourpusher on an operational semi-submersible drilling vessel
• Cyber experience essential and a minimum of 2 years operational experience as Junior Tourpusher / Planner on an operational semi-submersible drilling vessel.
• As this position is offshore, candidates will be required to hold a valid offshore medical and survival certification.

Job Title: Technical Superintendent (Onshore)

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Technical Superintendent for the Semi-Submersible Drilling rig, responsible for all technical, maintenance and regulatory compliance of the MOU.

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a STCW Certificate of Competence – Chief Engineer (III/2) Unlimited or Degree in Mechanical Engineering. OPITO Assessor and Verifier qualification.
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role with previous offshore experience with maintenance of semi-submersible rigs.
• Good knowledge of ISM, ISPS, and ISO certification processes

Job Title: Subsea Engineer

Location: Nigeria (Offshore)

Qualifications

• IWCF Well Control Surface and Sub Sea (Driller Level 3), Higher National Certificate or above in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering. Lloyds Subsea Engineer Programme preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Subsea Engineer on an operational semi -submersible or drilling vessel.
• MUX experience is essential and a minimum of 2 years’ experience as Assistant Subsea Engineer.
• As this position is offshore, candidates will be required to hold a valid offshore medical and survival certification.

Job Title: Rig Manager (Onshore)

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Onshore Rig Manager for the Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig, responsible for the client interface, financial budgeting, control, technical compliance, safety, performance, well control and emergency response procedures of the MOU.

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Degree or equivalent offshore operational experience, IWCF Well Control Surface and Sub Sea (Supervisor Level 4). OPITO Assessor and Verifier qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Rig Manager role, experienced in offshore drilling operations on an operational moored semi-submersible drilling vessel.

Job Title: Technical Crew – Electrical Competence Coach (Offshore)

Location: Nigeria (Offshore)

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Higher National Certificate or above in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Senior Electrician on an operational semi-submersible or drilling vessel.
• High voltage experience essential.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Competence Coach, carrying out on the job training, competence assessments, verification and audit activities and have experience working with an electronic competence assurance management system.

Job Title: Assistant Subsea Engineer

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Assisbint Subsea Engineer on an operational semi-submersible or drilling vessel.
• MUX experience preferred and a minimum of 2 years’ expenence in a mechanical or hydraulic engineering role.

Job Title: Technical Crew – Engineering Competence Coach (Offshore)

Location: Nigeria (Offshore)

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a STCW Certificate of Competence – Chief Engineer (III/2) Unlimited preferred, Second Engineer (III/2) Unlimited acceptable.
• OPITO Competence Assessor Qualification, OPITO Competence Verifier Qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Chief Engineer on an operational semi-submersible or drilling vessel and a minimum of 2 years as a 1st Engineer.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Competence Coach, carrying out competence assessments, verification and audit activities and have experience working with an electronic competence assurance management system.
• As this position is required to work or travel offshore, candidates will be required to hold a valid offshore medical and survival certification.

Job Title: Senior Subsea Engineer

Qualifications

• IWCF Well Control Surface and Sub Sea (Driller Level 3), Higher National Certificate or above in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering. Lloyds Subsea Engineer Programme preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as Senior Subsea Engineer on an operational semi-submersible or drilling vessel
• Deep water and MUX experience essential and a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Subsea Engineer and assessed as competent by management.
• As this position is offshore, candidates will be required to hold a valid offshore medical and survival certification.

Job Title: Senior Electronics Technician
