The application portal for TSC recruitment was closed on Friday, 5th August, 2022 and those who were able to submit application are to check next to know if their application was acceptable which will therefore lead to them being shortlisted for interview.
Kindly note that, if you didn’t submit the online application form then you’re not eligible to access the list of shortlisted applicants.
Is Kenya TSC Shortlisted Applicants 2023/2024 Out?
The full list of candidates shortlisted from the general applicants of the just concluded Kenya teachers recruitment is now out and the steps on how to check it is available on this page.
The commission laid emphasis on transparency in the recruitment process and stressed that it is strictly candidates who adhered to the recruitment requriements are being shortlisted.
So if you were able to meet up with TSC recruitment requirements, you’re good to go, just as a form of recap, and you can see the criteria outline below to be sure you’re on the safe side.
- Prospective applicant should be a Kenyan currently residing in any of the counties
- Candidate applying should be have a valid National identification card
- Applicant must be a graduate from a recognized institution in Kenya and also with Certificate of Registration as a teacher
- Applicant should have an authentic evidence of service as a teacher intern (where applicable)
- A Diploma/Degree certificate and official transcripts is required
- Candidate applying should have KCSE certificates or its equivalent (include certificates for attempts if one re-sat exams)
- KCPE certificate or its equivalent (include certificates for attempts if one re-sat exams)
- Primary and Secondary School leaving certificates and other relevant testimonials
- National Council of Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) Card (where applicable)
- Candidate applying should get an Affidavit sworn under the Oaths and Statutory Declarations Act, Cap 15 of the Laws of Kenya to explain the variance in names
- Letter of certification of results by KNEC (where applicable)

How to Download and Check TSC Shortlisted Candidates 2023/2024
Here’s the guidelines on how you can easily access the full list containing names of Kenya Teaching Service Commission recruitment shortlisted candidates for both primary and secondary school.
- First step is to visit https://www.tsc.go.ke
- On the menu bar, hover your mouse to careers and click recruitment of teachers
- You will then be redirected to https://hrmis.tsc.go.ke
- Supply your login details (email address and password)
- On your dashboard, click application status to see if you’ve been shortlisted or not
If you wish to download the direct list, once you visit https://www.tsc.go.ke, scroll down the end of the page, under “quick links” click “downloads”, and then scroll through the download page to get the shortlisted candidates for either primary or secondary into your device as pdf.

When is Kenya Teachers Recruitment Interview 2023/2024?
The teaching service commission has made it known that shortlisted candidates will undergo an interview where proper verification of credentials and credibility starting Thursday, 21st July, 2022 and time would be 8.00am.
