According to NPC, a total of 13,500 field functionaries comprising of 11,510 enumerators, 1,529 Supervisors and 823 facilitators have been selected to participate in the conduct of the trial census scheduled for June 2022 as well as the April 2023 population and housing census.

The NPC E-recruitment portal for the Trial Census was launched on the 30th of May 2022. The recruitment portal was geo-fenced and the application is restricted to only applicants residing in the six selected LGAs from six States in the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
