NYSC PPA Rejection to Get a New Place of Primary Assignment: Steps to Take
But… before you reject the place assigned to you, scan through the area if there’s another facility that’s suitable and available for you.
Steps on How to Reject your NYSC PPA
STEP 1: The most important thing to do if you cannot work yourself out while in camp (that is relating with the coordinators and other heads in the camp) is to inform the employer.
Politely approach the Head of the Facility and state good and convincing reasons why you wont be able to stay at the facility.
If you’re good with the convincing, they’ll be compelled to write to NYSC to allocate another facility to you. That’s a Good step if it’s successful.
STEP 2: The person will ask you question like; what would you want me to do because your services are actually needed. Kindly tell the person, please Sir/Madam kindly reject me. This is actually the perfect step.
Lots of persons do say it on their own that they were rejected by the organization they were posted to.
Most at times, NYSC official call or meet the facility to ask why the Corp members were rejected. However, it is very rare as there’s no time for such.

STEP 3: After being rejected, take the letter of rejection to the Local Government and inform them that you were rejected by your PPA. The local government could either repost you or ask you to sort for a place of your choice and report back to them. Sorting for a place for yourself is another great opportunity for your convenience if you can.
STEP 4: After been approved to seek for a place on your own by the Local Government, go ahead and look for a convenient place. If the company you are working with before NYSC is there, you can go for your PPA there. If you have none, move around and get a nice place as you maybe retained i.e. employed after your Youth Service depending on your performances which matters a lot.
When you’ve finally secured a place, proceed back to the local government and submit the name of the place to them so that they’ll reprocess your posting and reprint your posting letter which shall now bear the name of the new PPA you brought to them.
STEP 5: The final step is to take the posting letter back to your new place of primary assignment (new PPA) for documentation and collection of your acceptance letter.
Once done with that, proceed to the local government for your proper clearance and documentation.
