Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization (WEWE) is a legally registered incorporated Trustee, a women-led, local not-for-profit, faith-based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).

Vacant Positions for Recruitment at Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization (WEWE)

Program Manager (Volunteer), Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (Volunteer), Communication Officer (Volunteer) and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (Volunteer).

Requirements for Program Manager (Volunteer)

• Applicants Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a relevant field
• Applicants Must be Postgraduate Degree holders preferably a Master’s in Public Health or a related field
• Applicants Must have Additional certifications in leadership or its equivalent will be added advantage
• Individuals in a leadership and management role in the organization.
• Applicants Must have Proven and demonstrated Project Management Expertise
• Applicants Must have a Minimum of 5 years of experience in advocacy and training
• Applicants Must have Advanced experience in competency-based skill-building training
• Applicants Must have Experience managing a USAID-funded project/sub-project is highly desirable.
• Applicants Must have Experience using M&E software such as Excel, DHIS2, and other open-source platforms.
• Applicants Must have Experience in data analysis and report writing.
• Applicants Must have Excellent English writing skills.

Requirements for Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (Volunteer)

• Candidates Must have a First Degree in a relevant field i.e., Statistics, Mathematics, or any relevant field, plus a minimum of 2 years institutional experience and expertise in M&E.
• Candidates Must have Experience using M&E software such as Excel, Kobo Connect, DHIS2, and other open-source platforms.
• Candidates Must have Strong Report Writing skills – Consultant must provide evidence of previous report written and references that can attest to your report writing skills
• Candidates Must have Experience in M&E for an International donor project/sub-project is highly desirable.
• Candidates Must have Experience in data analysis and report writing.
• Candidates Must have Excellent English writing skills.

Requirements for Communication Officer (Volunteer)

• A graduate with Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma or its equivalent, who has completed NYSC (or has a written exemption letter) with a First or Second Class Upper Division (2.1) in English, Linguistics, mass communication, journalism, or any social science-related fields.
• Additional certifications in communication or its equivalent will be added advantage.
• Candidates Must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years post-NYSC experience in a reputable Organization in a similar role.
• Candidates Must have Extremely strong computer skills, with knowledge of relevant publishing software such as but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Ms. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Desktop Publishing (Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, PDF, Illustrator, InDesign – CorelDraw).
• Candidates Must have Experience in Media Production, Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Whatsapp, Mail chimp, Google Forms, and Instagram), extremely strong in written and oral English language with research writing skills.
• Superior oral and written communication skills with an emphasis on creative approaches, attention to detail, and efficient delivery methods.
