Current State Monthly Allowance to NYSC Corps Members – Apart from the Federal Allowance, It is true that some states support corp members serving within their territories with some stipends (allowance) every moment. However, not all states. This article seeks to inform you of the amount paid by different states to corp members. This will by effect guide your choices for state of deployment.
Current State Monthly Allowance to NYSC Corps Members
Currently, the highest paying states are Ebonyi state, Kano state and Lagos state. In as much you are selecting states to serve or you want to make your choice, consider places that would have employment opportunities.
If you’re gainfully employed and paid handsomely, you can cover up whatever amount the state can pay.
Consider states that would appreciate what you studied, and would love to retain you.
There are lots of companies in Nigeria, try serving in states that has those companies and see if there could be an opportunity of you doing your PPA (Primary Place of Assignment – it is done after 3 weeks in camp) in those companies and fortunately you could be retained.
The amounts stated below is subject to change at anytime as there is an accepted increase of minimum wage, thus the state Allowance could also increase.
Also, remember that your monthly NYSC allawee would not be affected rather there could be an increase.
